Akupanel Specification
What size is an Akupanel ?
Each panel is 600mm wide and 2400mm tall or 2ft by 8ft.
What finish is on Akupanel ?
They are finished with a satin UV lacquer so there is nothing else for you to do.
What are Akupanel made from ?
They are made from a 9mm recycled acoustic felt and 12mm MDF slats with a wood veneer finish. All timber used comes from FSC controlled forests.
How do I fit Akupanel ?
They can be glued onto the wall with our FixAll High-Tack adhesive or screwed on with our black installation screws. Both available on our accessories section.
Where can I fit Akupanel ?
They can be fitted on any wall or ceiling internally. Also in bathrooms as long as it's not in direct contact with water.
How can I finish the edges or top of Akupanels ?
For every colour (apart from Oxidised Copper) we sell a matching wooden universal trim that can be used as an external corner, edge trim or top trim (if you're not completing a full wall).
Does Akupanel help with acoustics ?
Yes, due to the composition of the felt background and the MDF slats, they will greatly reduced echo or reverb in your room.

What payment methods do you accept ?
We accept all major credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay, Paypal and Novuna Finance.
Do you have a showroom ?
After our successful 1st year in business we are now excited to confirm the opening of our flagship showroom in Newtownabbey at the beginning of 2025! Currently everything we sell is online although you can arrange to meet us at our Head Office in Mallusk if you wish to see our products on display.
Are there samples of Akupanel available ?
Yes we sell a box with samples of all 7 colours including a 200mm section of our wooden universal trim to help you make your final selection. Click here for more information.
Why is my 10% off first order not working ?
The 10% off first order is 10% off the SRP of the product, if there are other promotions on that have a higher discount they will be applied and the 10% off first order wont. 10% off doesnt apply to pre-discounted bundles.
Shipping & Collection
When will my products be delivered?
We aim to deliver your products within 3-5 days. Our courier partner BPD will contact you within a few days of your order confirmation to confirm a suitable time and date for delivery.
What is the delivery cost ?
Our ratse is based on product size and weight, when you are at your checkout stage the system will calculate your rate which covers all of Northern Ireland (Please note: we do not ship outside of Northern Ireland).
Can I pick up my items from your warehouse ?
Yes, if you select "pickup in store" at your cart you can collect from our Newtownabbey warehouse within a few hours. You will receive an email to confirm that your order is ready for collection.
What happens on the day of your scheduled delivery?
You will receive an email from our courier partner BPD with shipping dates and times. Someone must be in to receive the delivery. If no one is in and there is no where safe to leave it, you may be charged for a re-delivery.
Do you use a courier service ?
Yes we partner with a locally based courier BPD who offer fantastic local knowledge, innovatice software and fantastic service.
